Methodology

Data is from the September 2020 Morning Consult report titled "How COVID-19 Is Changing the Holiday Shopping Season." 2,212 US adults ages 18+ were surveyed online during September 1-3, 2020. Data are weighted to approximate a target sample of adults based on age, educational attainment, gender, race, and region. Results from the full survey have a margin of error of +/-2 percentage points.
