Methodology
Data is from the September 2020 Splunk report titled "The Data Age Is Here. Are You Ready?" conducted by True Global Intelligence. 2,259 IT and business managers worldwide were surveyed. The survey was conducted in 2 rounds during October 2019 and January 2020. Respondents were based in Australia (n=250), China (n=250), France (n=254), Germany (n=250), Japan (n=250), Netherlands (n=252), the UK (n=252), and the US (n=501). All respondents are engaged with how their organizations collect, manage, and use data. There was an even split between IT and business roles. 23% of respondents were C-suite/owners and senior leadership (VP/SVP), 26% were directors, and 51% were managers.
