Methodology

Data is from a March 2021 AppsFlyer and MMA Global report titled "Personal Data, Privacy, & Smartphones: The Cautious Consumer." 1,500 US smartphone owners ages 13+ were surveyed during February 5-17, 2021. Respondents included 1,000 iPhone owners and 500 Android smartphone owners, and were balanced by age and gender. AppsFlyer is a provider of mobile advertising attribution and analytics. MMA Global is a trade association of marketers, martech, and media companies focused on the future of marketing.
