Methodology

Data is from an April 2021 Ascend2 report titled "Customer Experience Design." 327 marketing professionals worldwide were surveyed during March 21-28, 2021. Respondents identified their role as VP/director/manager (30%), C-suite/owner/partner (57%), and nonmanagement professional (13%). Respondents identified their company type as B2B (32%), B2C (46%), and equally split between B2B and B2C (22%). Respondents identified the number of employees at their company as fewer than 50 (65%), 50-500 (19%), and more than 500 (16%).
