Methodology

Data is from a January 2021 MMGY Global report titled "The Black Traveler: Insights, Opportunities & Priorities" as cited in company blog. 3,635 Black leisure travelers in Europe and North America ages 18+ were surveyed online during October 1-November 24, 2020. Respondents identified their ethnicity as Black American, Black African, Black Caribbean, or Black Hispanic/Latinx and took a vacation in 2019, the most recent normal travel year prior to the coronavirus pandemic.
