Data is from May 2021 Capco report titled "Insights for Investments to Modernize Digital Banking." 1,008 US banking consumers of large institutional, super-regional, regional, community, and digital-first/fintech institutions were surveyed online in January 2021. Individuals were distributed fairly evenly across age, income, and four age categories (Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millenials, and Gen Z). Capco is a global management and technology consultancy dedicated to the financial services and energy industries.
