Methodology

Data is from the March 2022 Pew Research Center report titled "AI and Human Enhancement: Americans' Openness Is Tempered by a Range of Concerns." 10,260 US adults ages 18+ from the American Trends Panel (ATP) were surveyed online during November 1-7, 2021. The American Trends Panel is a nationally representative panel of randomly selected US adults. Panelists who do not have internet access at home are provided with a tablet and wireless internet connection. Interviews are conducted in both English and Spanish. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/-1.6 percentage points.
