Key stats you need to know about today

Food Goals: Food delivery service DoorDash has raised $535 million in a Series D round, funded by several investors, including Japan-based telecom SoftBank. According to DoorDash CEO Tony Xu, the money will be used to expand to roughly 1,600 cities, up from 600 this year, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Digital Transformation Spend: Nearly seven in 10 CFOs and senior financial executives surveyed by Grant Thornton LLP and CFO Research plan to increase their spending on digital transformation within the next year. Moreover, four in 10 respondents said they plan to increase expenditures by more than 10%.

Media Usage: New data from PQ Media reveals that US consumer time spent with media—both traditional and digital—increased roughly 0.3% last year, averaging 70.7 hours a week. The company projects time spent will grow 1.2% in 2018, "boosted by increased cross-channel viewing of the Winter Olympics and contentious political campaigns in the fall."
