Methodology: Data is from the October 2020 Liftoff report titled "2020 Mobile App Engagement Index: User Acquisition Trends and Benchmarks." Liftoff analyzed activity on its platform, covering 623 billion ad impressions, 8.8 billions clicks, 478 million events and 381 million app installs between September 1-August 31, 2020. 1,051 app categories were included: dating, finance, gaming, shopping, travel and utility. Liftoff is a provider of mobile app marketing and engagement services.
