Additional Note: Telematics data is tracked from a mobile app or telematics device in which the captured driving data is submitted and processed by a data center and further relayed to an insurer. Telematics devices include on-board diagnostic (OBD), original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and black box technologies. These devices are provided to insured drivers free of charge or at cost and may need to be further self-installed. 

Methodology: Estimates are based on the analysis of survey and traffic data from research firms and regulatory agencies, historical trends, country-specific data and demographic and socioeconomic factors.
