Note: the number of electronic devices used to process payments/transactions at a physical location. A POS (point of sale) terminal generally includes the following: countertop, multilane, self checkout, tablet, and handheld terminals with integrated chip and/or magnetic stripe card readers, as well as approved chip, signature & pin devices, Contactless card readers (NFC, ETC.), mPOS devices, gas station terminals, vending machines, and kiosks
Additional Note: Not Included are smartphones used as POS terminals and other devices that allow you to make purchases remotely such as speakers and video game consoles.
