Additional Note: A smart home security camera is an interactive device that connects via internet and/or Bluetooth (or any other connectivity protocol) that can be controlled or automated by apps, smart home hubs or voice assistants to interact with smart security systems. Security cameras track and record happenings in a home and alert the owner to any intrusions. These videos can be transmitted directly to other smart devices. Examples include Arlo, Blink, Google Nest, and Wyze security cameras. Excludes standalone security cameras and devices marketed as baby monitors.
Methodology: Estimates are based on the analysis of survey and traffic data from research firms and regulatory agencies, sales projections, historical trends, company-specific data, and demographic and socioeconomic factors.
